my alternator died on me and now i must replace it.

does anybody know a place in the south bay that can do the work for me at a decent price.

or have a link on how to replace it myself.

any help would be appreciated.

I don't have an answer for you. But I am curious how you determined that your alternator died. The reason I ask is because the battery in my wife's car died over the Thanskgiving weekend, and I'd like to know if it is the battery that failed or the charging system that failed. Thanks.
