Default For all you slow DSL users

All you have to do is goto:

https://swot.sbc.com/swot/DSLRenewal...MP=att_upgrade

No need to deal with any CSR.

I just upgraded my $19.99 express to $17.99 pro this way. So now my speed is 3.0mbits instead of the slow 1.5mbits for less dough.

I jumped on this last night. Excellent deal. Price is good for a full year. I was still under contract for 9 more months and they still upgraded my service and lowered my price.

NP. Now you get to surf faster for a cheaper price. I'm not sure if this is instant or if they have to switch a switch. But either way, its a great deal I found.

I actually ordered this about a week ago. It will activate on the 21st. Should I go wireless or should I hard wire it

so with this it's just 17.99 a month? no hidden fee's or anything? i see something about "You will also be charged a monthly FUSF (Federal Universal Service Fund) cost recovery fee to help cover charges from our data transport supplier pursuant to state and federal telecom regulations. This fee is not a tax or government required charge."
any idea what that is?

The only hidden thing is you have to sign up for 1 year. But I don't think you will ever downgrade back to modem right? FUSF is just one of the many FCC fees that the government requires us consumers to pay. For example, take a look at your cell phone bill and you will notice that there will be 5-10 additional surcharges. Either way, you are still getting a good deal.
