You immediately get into a street race with the cop, and if you win, you get out of jail free card, and street cred.

95 is my record. They gave me a ticket. I did trial by declaration and got the fine cut in 1/2 and they let me take traffic school, which wasn't initially an option.

My GF got a ticket for going 105 one time though. Whenever she complains about my driving, I remind her that I have a better record...

I got busted on the freeway in Hayward by a Livermore cop for doing 101mph.

I had a few points on my record and I contested my ticket

After all was said and done, $500 fine, level 2 traffic school, and 2 points on my record. I did not loose my licence tho

All my tickets have been in the 80's, I don't have as many as some may think either.
I'm pretty sure I've been clocked much faster than that but I've never seen them?

I was pulled over for 110 in a 70 in Washington, charged with reckless driving as a gross misdemeanor in the Cascade county. Was looking at ~ 2 weeks in jail -- got a lawyer. Took 2 days of aggressive driving courses. An $850 dollar fine and $3K for a lawyer later, and 2 wasted days, I didn't go to jail and ended up with negligent driving 2nd degree. I learned my lesson.

That whole 55 thing on 87 is jacked, I'm pretty sure it was 65 but because of the bumps they reduced it to 55. They probably make tons off that road.
