Aftermarket Support for S2Ki why so expensive?

I don't feel like S2000 parts are parts are particularly expensive. Pretty cheap for a sports car actually, I don't think you're going to find much cheaper for a real sports car unless you buy a Miata.

i'm not here to say everyone go buy made in china eBay parts.
i'm saying there is a Price you pay for quality you get in return. at $1000 a intake, i don't think there is much in return at all.
my first roadster was a na miata, than i bought a ap1 s2000, than my next 4 roadsters were all miata lol, recently i just bought my gf a ap2 s2000 and i'm hoping to do some minor tune up and fix couple small things. The s2000 is very refined car, but i think we are going to enjoy all of its glory in its stock form.

The best bang for your buck is a tune. I gained over 30whp and 30trq in the mid from a FP tune. Jeez made it feel like a completely different car. A good tuner will get you more trq in the 3-4k range. Driving is much more pleasant all around
