thanks itsallforyou for the connector! glad i don't have to get it now.

and why would u want silicone? AEM when they sell the intake they give u a rubber connector.. if silicone was better wouldn't they give you that instead?

Cuz plain old rubber's about half the price? Note that the rubber AEM uses is probably silicone rubber...

This from Dictionary.com probably explains it best:

haha icic. well it's all good stuff, cuz itsallforyou is gonna be sending me that rubber connector that he got from AEM with the intake.

I was just afraid it was one of those cheap Fernco couplers or something...
