i am worried about hydrolocking and which intake is better.

i had the injen before and had no hydrolock issues. Another factor is because my car was and is always garaged. Comparing the two i'd say the aem with the bypass would be your best bet. Good luck with your decision.

AEM v2... with a filter shield over the top

just ebay for intake heat shield, got mine for like 11 works great.

no bypass, those things are terrible.

Yeh i love my AEM V2...oh wait! its for sale too! 100bucks + OEM box...thats a mothafuzin steal =D
