Speaking oh "heavy hitters" This is my next venture, Im looking for something stronger, but not sure where to look. It seems as if most people like M105 or M95, or the Menzerna alternatives.

Whats the difference between M95 and M105 as far as cut/gloss? And how does it compare to the Meznerna?

My strongest combo is Menzerna IP(not SIP)and PFW/orange pad, should I get SIP AND M95 or M105??
Welcome to the Bay Area boards Billy!

From what I gather M95 doesn't have as much cut, and is harder to finish down (or maybe it has more cut, and is harder to finish down?). Either way, as Jake said in earlier posts M105 is a MUST HAVE in the detailing arsenal because on some harder clears such as BMW/Mercedes you can easily make it LSP ready in 3 steps going from a combo like: M105/Wool+M105+Polishing Pad+106/85rd+Finishing pad. That's only if you need wool, if you don't need wool, it's only a two stepper, where as if you have menzerna power gloss, you have to go PowerGloss+SIP/IP+106+85rd.

So I would definitely get the M105 FOR SURE, as far as SIP goes, it doesn't has that much more cut than IP, it's just a different formula. Much like 106ff and 106fa. 106fa and ff have the same cut, but fa lasts longer and dusts less. SIP has minimal more cut than IP, but it lasts longer, and dusts less. So it's up to you if you want to step up to SIP. I don't find myself needing IP because, well, it's just not necessary. I might get that new stuff Phil mentioned to take the place of a possible IP purchase.

Also, look into real wool pads. They are MUCH easier to use, and also cut a lot better/finer. The only time I see other people use PFW is with the 4" one so they can get in the crevices, a lot of people like the megs solo wool pads which is what I bought, and should be here tomorrow. I was told PFW is not a very good wool pad, so we'll see.

Tony, thanks for the compliment! Just PM when you want that perfect finish to go along with the new mods

I just made my first order of M105! Im so excited to get it! Now for the pad situation..so which wool pads should I step up to?

So it seems to be the best combo to have is..
M105
Menzerna SIP
Menzerna 106fa
Menzerna PO85rd

Seems like these products should be able to tackle any project thrown at me..I just order M105, probably going to pick up SIP, and 106fa(only bc I am out of my quart of ff )

Now I gotta figure out which pads to stock upon, I am definitely going with some LC FLAT PADS! Gotta get some white and black ones for sure.
