Default ACDetailing: 2001 S2000

So here is the final result with my trials and tribulations of super soft honda paint, and trying to get the most possible correction within a time/price limit. After the customer picked up the car, he was very pleased with the work, and I went over with him how the paint was going to look in the sun, and even showed him under my different lights just what to expect (picked it up at night time). I was able to get arounf 95% corrected though..

Exterior

Rims/Tires/Wheel wells were pressure washed
Dressed with Megs HD 2:1
Pressure wash the entire car
Wash with Megs Gold Class soap+Shmitt
Dry with DD Uber Waffle Weave Towel
Clay with Megs Mild Yellow+Megs QD
Wash again
Final combination:
Menzerna SIP+CCS White at 1200-1400-1200 for 2 passes
Menzerna PO106FA+CCS Black at 800-1200-800
Menzerna PO85RD+CCS Blue at 800rpms
Prepsol wipe down

JETseal109 x2

1,000,000 candle light spotlight
3M blue tape
Uber red drying+polishing+glass towels
Metabo
3M Backing plate
CCS 5.5" pads

Aaron, I can't thank you enough for detailing the car for the price we had discussed. I still would like to have the opportunity to buy you a nice dinner or something since you worked so diligently the whole time it was in your posession.

I have no problem admitting i haven't a clue when it comes to washing a car properly other than soap and water, but now I will be sure to be calling you before every wash to make sure i'm dong things right.

EVERYONE THIS MAN IS GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES!!!!

I plan to get one soon. But I've seen people hit cars with 4-5 passes of wool and M105 and then finish all the way down perfectly and not even remove .5 mil which is pretty good. Which PTG do you use?

Oh yeah, I was just talking about in general that you can hit cars fast and heavy, and it'll be fine. I do agree about the paint thickness though, I was just making a generalization. As far as compounds, I just ordered M105 because PowerGloss is just garbage. I was also thinking about M85 and M95, how do you feel about those? I was thinking that M105 is so versatile that I wouldn't need a "less cut" heavy hitter.

I want the defelsko, but can't justify the $600 for it. There was one that someone recommended to me that was only like $280, and I think it read in microns as well. Damn jake, we need to talk more! I know I could probably learn a lot more from you, we should meet up some time

Speaking oh "heavy hitters" This is my next venture, Im looking for something stronger, but not sure where to look. It seems as if most people like M105 or M95, or the Menzerna alternatives.

Whats the difference between M95 and M105 as far as cut/gloss? And how does it compare to the Meznerna?

My strongest combo is Menzerna IP(not SIP)and PFW/orange pad, should I get SIP AND M95 or M105??
