Yup, exactly, we were shoveling mud out of that rim for a while. It was amazing. Didn't scratch the rim, or touch a body panel, just scooped a huge chunk of mud from the hill and carried it allll the way up the mountain before we pulled it all out.

It is actually a bit safer, when it is raining we can only go a little above twice the speed limit.

(Don't try this at home, you will die.)

EDIT: OMFG shehatezme that was post 666, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!? O_O

Now we are all cursed. Great.
Andrew has a point about the rain making things safer.

it's not that bad when it's pouring, compared to when it JUST starts to rain. now that, is slippery.

Although, in the mountains, the pouring rain knocks pine needles and leaves and mud into the road, which tends to be worse than the initial oil slick-ness. I won't even get into the boulders that appear in the road...obstacle course!

Also after it has finished raining, and everything else is dried out but the mountain roads are greasy as shit because the trees keep things from drying out properly.

f@#k YOU TREES! (breathes oxygen, oh right) THANKS TREES!

Following a friend in his Mustang GT last friday, and he saw a guard rail that owed him money so he tried to tackle it:

The guard rail took a beating but I would say it still came out victorious..
