what time should we get there?
Depends on what class your running and if your going to run in class. If your going to run street tire like myself, and you want to run in class, then you would want to be there at 8-830.

Street Tire: Saturday: run 1 WORK 2 Sunday: run 2 WORK 1.

so if i'm new and being "in class" doesn't matter, could i run in the first group and work the second group?

and what time is tech inspection?

Yes you could do that, but what would be the point of that? Your going to be done the same time if you work 1 run 2 as if you work 2 ran 1. Might as well run with people with the same car as you.

Registration starts around 8 with the racing to start around 9, both days. If you want to run both days, you can pay for both on Saturday and they will give you 2 tech cards. Tech is done on grid (have your car on grid early with hood and trunk open, nothing floating around in any area), so if it's your first time running tell the people at the registration table that it's your first time with AAS.

AAS run 4 run groups, 2 before lunch 2 after lunch. Lunch is after the last car runs on the 2nd run group. Usually last anywhere from an hour to 1.5 hours. $40 dollars per day, you get 5 runs for that. If you want to run fun runs, those are usually $20 if they are availiable. Like Vu said earlier, YOU RUN, YOU WORK!!!!

Any other questions about AAS?

No club fee's required like SCCA. Just show up, bring a car, bring a helmet, pay your fee's and have fun.

its kinda important you run with "your" group...
