offtrack class would be BSP, but at AAS it would be street prepared 1 or you can run their street tire class with a BSP index...
its confusing but you can choose either street prepared 1 or STREET TIRE

lets battle pokemon styleCall me spoiled for running with AAS in the days of the Winton Ramp (those that have ran there know what I'm talking about). Like you said, it's a lot more of a family enviorment running with AAS and I think SCCA could learn a thing or 2.

On your tech card if you have never been to an AAS event, in the class box put ST/BSP and the powers to be will know what to do. For those that dont know me, I'll be in the Laguna Blue #3.
