I'm thinking about riding around 10:30ish.. I have another buddy of mine coming out. I'll be starting at the Chabot Marina. I'll be sticking to the southern portion of the Chabot Park.

Depending who shows up, I am planning on doing...

'Lake Chabot Bike Loop. 12.42mi loop around the Lake. (details in link above)

Or a shorter loop.. East Shore --> Honker Bay Trail --> Family Camp Grounds --> Puma Point --> Live Oak Trail --> East Shore Trail.. (7miles?)

Again routes can change depending who shows up..

If people drive, park on Lake Chabot Road. The is a parking fee for cars.. You can park before or after the Chabot Marina Entrance or on the other side of Lake Chabot Road..

We can meet at the Marina Cafe and Bait, by the Boat rentals..

Does anyone have a bike I could borrow? I would like to come out, and I will ride my bmx if needed but I'd rather not =)

I only have one mtb at my place in the east bay.. I have a single speed back in the city.. It was many years ago when i could go mtb'ing with a SS.
