I think Sea Cliff is ideal....if you go there early enoughyou can park 3 paces from the picnic area.

BTW. This is the Seacliff near Santa Cruz not the one in San Fran. If you guys are set on having it in Half Moon bay that's cool. I just thought this would be a better choice for parking and bbqing cause theres grills already there, if your an early bird parking available right next to the picnic tables/grills. And you wouldn't need to lug food/grills from the car to the beach

dude santa cruz is too deep. thinking 1/2 moon bay, but you're right, not all about hiking around w/ a bunch of crap....
