Plasma better than LCD? Hahahaha what a joke coming from someone that doesn't vtec.
Lcd is now probably as good as a CRT and plasma is not even remotely close to a CRT.
I'll take quality over size any day.

Seriously though, Best Buy is the wrong place to be comparing one screen against another. Usually the brightness and contrast settings are all jacked up and their video source has been split I don't know how many times. It's not like any of those screens are even calibrated.
My rear projection LCD suits the requirements for my living room nicely. It may or may not be what I would choose for my bedroom since the requirements in there would be a little different.

I dont know why u guys hate bb so much. Yea there list prices are retail, which circuit city has the same prices.
Thats why u tell them you want a deal..
If you are speaking to a guy higher up and kinda make a fuss out of it they will give you a discount.
I was able to buy my 50" for 1000 and its was listed at 2000..
I was able to get it at that price because the new 2007 model was coming in soon so they wanted to get rid of the 2006..
It was still new and I am very happy with it..
By the way its Samsung.

Wow, I see lots of hating going on here.
People have different reasons to buy things. Let's respect all of their opinions.
Anyhow, I think Westinghouse has decent priced LCD (42", 1080p, HDMI). Other low price HDTVs are VIZIO and OLEVIA. Try http://www.techbargains.com to see if they have any deals.
Hope this info helps Wendy
