Yeah the old one didn't hold up, few problems with retainers. The machine shop was unable to determine why this happened and Honda was unwilling to help me figure out why (they retained parts which prevented me from having them overlyanalzyed). They did repair the head, so its practically brand new. IMHO the heads on these cars probably don't last beyond 50-60K miles with abuse, maybe even less. I have seen people on here have the same issues, heads dying and no OverREVs.....
