Today was one of the better course ive seen at Oakland, good fun and a slight sun burn. No video unfortunately, I forgot to bring it...

Yeah it was definitely fun! What did you do on the back slalom portion? I had a hard time figuring out whether or not to shift into 3rd or leave it in 2nd.

I was shifting to 3rd early to settle the car down instead of being on the ragged edge. I tried 2nd gear on my first run and I was on the limiter for a good 7-8 hits, so it was a no brainer. Got down to a 40.449? Course really had some sections where you had to pucker and just go for it...

Thats probably where I lost all my time. I tried 3rd gear twice but ended up a second slower, probably more to do with me losing time trying to do a quick heel toe before the end, so ragged edge for me in 2nd it was. Did you ever shift back into 2nd?

Duh I probably could have kept it in 3rd till the second to last corner!

I was about a second slower than you 41.5xx

shifted back into 2nd at the end of the slalom going into the right hander. for some reason i chicken lifted on the finish kink where i should have kept it flat. probably only worth 1-2 tenths, oh well.
