I thought all classes use indexing?
No. Stock, Street Prepared, Street Modified, and Modified classes don't index.

That's odd because all these except fun runs show indexing.

every class is indexed, certain made up classes actually use indexing to place you in the finish line up.

All classes have a PAX, or "index" that they run. That's why when you look at SCCA or AAS event results, you'll see 2 sets of numbers. Fastest overall and fastest PAX.

So yes, they are "indexed", but the index is strictly for your info only. It means nothing when it comes to results in the classes I said. The PAX is used only in the Street Tire classes.

this year that changed.... there is now an INDEX class, well for SCCA. just like street tire, you go in this class then your season points are based on pax and you cant compete in your regular class if you go in the "X" class...
