It was a very cool layout and it definitely drove better than it looked.

I ran out of talent going through the offset on one of my runs and tookout a good portion of the course in that area. ooops

I enjoyed it as well. I felt it was challenging and besides the first left hander, seemed to flow fairly well.

Tires weren't were I wanted them to be, but since this is a new setup and I have old tires on, it was to be expected. Mac did a better job driving his car then I did driving mine and beat me by 5 hundreds of a second . Oh well, there is next time.

BTW, during my hero run (last run), I got a DNF. I don't think I've had one of those in a while . In hindsight I should have avoided the DNF incase I got a re-run.

This is only my 3rd time driving at an auto-x and I definitely had a blast! Last time I attended one was back in nov. 2007 Made a last minute decision of taking off my non stag setup and putting my stockies back on. The tires have not touched pavement ever since I made the switch (nov/dec of 2008?). it definitely felt a bit funky to me since I’m so accustomed to driving my non stag setup. It was very challenging for me since I felt like I had no turn in grip and the car just kept pushing. Eventually, I managed to re-learn how to drive the car and somehow get within 2 seconds from vu and mac.
Times (all with jenn in the passenger seat):
1: 59.xx (forgot exact number)
2: 57.57
3: 61.22 (due to spin out)
4: 56.171
Definitely had A LOT of room to improve on. Videos to come soon. Hopefully I don’t pull an anish on them
