Default 2008 WRX STi

2008 STi Video (Japanese? a bit of english from one of the developing drivers towards the end)

LA Auto Show Pics (IWSTI.com)

Pricing, Specs, and the car in Blue (IWSTI.com)

I had an '04, and I miss it. I'm not sure who beat the designer with an ugly stick, followed by the '03 Ford Focus 2 Dr Hatch stick, then finished up with the Mazda 3 Hatch stick... but I guess this thing can perform (?)

Eh.. like the previous generation of the STi.. maybe the new design will grow on me with time.

If anyone got a chance to drive the 08 WRX.. let us know how it felt, specifically the tranny compared to any previous models you may have driven.

What is with all the useless air scoops everywhere and I think the way front bumper blends into the silly fender flares looks like arse.

I do however like the styling on the back end, except for the silly fender flares again.

i think the styling'll grow on me. specs are good but it starts at $35k!?!? Definitely not worth it if the evo x is priced at $30k

Maybe I'm already the odd duck, but I like it. There again, my favorite rally cars were hatches (Lancia, Quattro)

At $40K, it's gettin' a hair steep, but I'd give it a nod if the planets align in my favor.

I am thinking about getting one.. would avoid the first production year. The Evo is so heavy now. Are we getting the SAYC for the Evo?
