vw takes feedback from vwvortex.com porsche and bmw take feedback from their owner forums. in this case I doubt Honda will take any of our input..... we never even got the Civic Type-R with modified imports being such a big business here in the states.

If all they had done was change the suspension, they probably would have had me...assuming the car would be left in A Stock which is not a sure thing.
The soft top delete, maybe I could have dealt with. I use the car as a convertible with the top down as much as possible. I would hate to have to run the hard top just in case it might rain sometime while I am out. But, 90 pounds off the car would be kind of nice. I's probably still be tempted.
But the smurf blue paint...the puke-yellow seats...the bodywork...the wing...I'm not a very image-conscious person, but I would be embarrassed to be seen in that thing! I would never be able to figure out whether the high school kids waving their arms and yelling were making fun of me or really liked my car. And if they really did like it, I don't think I'd be able to agree with them.
PS -- the parts say purist but the looks say poser. So who is going to buy one? I think that will be Honda's biggest problem.

Yeah, it looks terrible. I guess the problem is that it was done by AHM so they couldn't actually make real mechanical changes.
I think they should have just made less extensive changes. It is really going to be hard to find people that want everything that has been changed. And if you only want some changes, the price will probably be WAY to high to justify that. I'm surprised they are making 2000 of these and not 500.
