$2000 / year to time-share some exotic cars
There was an article in the Mercury News today about some "Fancy Car Clubs" where you pay about $2000 a year to time-share some exotic cars (10-days of driving). The link to the article is:
Fancy Car Club
The link to the car club is: http://www.clubsportiva.com
Would you pay that much money to share some exotics?

Guys, great to see a thread about Club Sportiva on S2KI. I am one of the owners of Club Sportiva and I drive an S2000 as my daily driver.
Club Sportiva is geared to an audience who already has a cool weekend car or had one in the past and is looking for the flexibility and variety to drive a bunch of cars affordably.
We have a mix of cars from a 1961 Porsche and a 1962 Corvette to a 1983 Ferrari and 1994 Lotus to a 2003 Boxster and 2003 Z4. German, Italian, British, American cars, it is all about the cars. We are currently adding an Acura NSX, a Ferrari 348 and a Shelby Cobra replica to the fleet of 15 that we currently have.
We also have a lounge area on the second floor for our Members, so we offer more than simply the ability to drive great cars. Club Sportiva is a timeshare for classic cars. For the price, it is an incredible offering. Along with our San Francisco and San Jose locations, we will be opening in Los Angeles within a year.
We also have some incredible Members, like Mario Andretti and Apollo 12 astronaut Dick Gordon. Definitely take time to check out the website: www.clubsportiva.com.
We also have a very cool division named euroSPORTIVA. For people looking to rent a new exotic in Europe while on vacation or business to drive on the Autobahn, to French wine country or on a German castle tour, you can rent a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley or Maserati from euroSPORTIVA.
There are 30 cars to choose between. A few include Ferrari F430, 360 Modena, F355, 575M, 550 Maranello, F40, F50, Enzo, Lamborghini Gallardo, Murcielago roadster, Diablo and the list goes on and on. Prices are reasonable considering the product, but they are more expensive than Club Sportiva membership. Minimum age for both Sportiva products is 30...
We recently acquired the North American marketing and sales rights for euroSPORTIVA, so the website is currrently being updated: www.EuropeanFerrariRental.com.
