Was that the game where Cal scored while the Stanford band was on the field? They still run that highlight on TV and I always crack up.
I was a neutral observer at the time (SF State) -- but I used to live in Berkeley so I root for the Bears.

On a sidenote, the ruling came out from the NCAA that Cal's appeal of 1 year bowl ban has been denied. Really sad considering Cal had a pretty decent chance at a lower tier bowl game. Go Bears!!!

Yeah, after last season, the bowl ban was a big joke...then we started out awesome and we were afraid we might miss out on one of the big bowls...thank God we self-destructed midway through...
Oh well, still have a pretty decent chance at winning our first big game in a long time

no one at cal really cares about the bowl anyway... it's all about the big game... it's been a good what... 7-9 years since the last tree choppin? someone rush the field and take out the tree again...
