Well consider yourself lucky that you got off that easily. Test pipe can get you some serious fines.

But I agree that the cop is just being a D!&%.

No front plate can also be handled easily.

At lease you got yours by a real cop.

I got a no front plate ticket parked on an SF street at 3 AM. F'ing meter maid....

they can give you a ticket for no front license plate while youre parked? i never knew that. im just thinking about zip tying my license plate to the front of my car then taking it back off after i get it signed off. should i do that or actually put it on the bumper? ive never put it on the bumper before so idk what do it? just take out the two duds and screw it on im guessing?

if its parked im not sure. I had a illegally tinted car once, and one time i saw a cop posted up near my car. as i got in and drove away, he followed me and pulled me over for my tints. he didnt ticket me until i was driving it. so unless the cop saw you driving it, you can always say its your "off road show car" so i guess they cant ticket you? i dont know though...

as for the zip ties, i think it depends on the depts. Ive heard stories on honda-tech of people there passing with zip ties.

best of luck.

Yea you can get a ticket for no front plate when parked. Only time I ever got a ticket for no front plate. The Eclipse parked behind me put his front plate on his dashboard and can barely be seen but he didn't get a ticket
