Assuming you were in my position, you would submit a TBD for BOTH offenses? I'm not real sure how I would argue against speeding 90mph. He never clocked me, rather saw me speed real fast and asked me how fast I thought I was going.

I thought that if I tried to fight both tickets, the judge would side with the CHP. Do I ask for an extension BEFORE I submit a TBD, or AFTER?

Sorry for the many questions. I am new at fighting tickets.

Also, if I were to ask to combine the 2 violations, would the judge reduce it to 1 ticket? And could I use traffic school for that 1 ticket?

Thanks everyone for the help!
Hopefully you didn't tell him how fast you were going, forfeiting your constitutional right not to self-incriminate... If so, that is the evidence he will use against you.

You can write a different defense based on how your speed was judged. The chances of actually making a wining argument, are very low. The chances of wining because the officer doesn't do the paperwork, are very high. I always delay as much as I can so that the officer is less able to remember the incident.

If you got two different tickets, you will need to file a separate TBD against each. Traffic school can only prevent 1 point, except in rare cases where they let you take a 12 hour class.

You will need to do some research.
