I just bought a cherry 96 GMC pickup with 78k miles for my beater using Edmunds Trade in value as my base price. The private party wanted $8500 and I paid $6,000 because I pointed out to him that this is what the truck is worth. As if you could find a truck for that price. He went for it so...........
