agreed. Kaan you're lucky you didn't get arrested or your car impounded. The cop was doing your a favor.

Next time come out to the track. You can hit those speeds and leave without a ticket.

+1 on this... it is, and like someone else did mention on this thread... you were lucky that they didn't impound your car rite then and there and not taking you in for the night.

This happened to me a LONG time ago in the m3... long story short, was doing 100+ at 2am from SJ heading back home to SF, got caught, CHP mentioned was clocked at 1-something... this is a felony and i can have your car impounded rite now. It was my first anything, he put me down as 99+ on the ticket. He stated that if he put anything in the 3 digit mark, it would not be so good for me in court and some other stuff he mentioned what over 100mph entailed. My end result was going to court, plead guilty to it, paid about..i think near $400sh for the fine? as well as getting 2 points or so on the driving record which did increase the insurance rates as well...

as lucky (i guess) i was for having him put 99 on the ticket than the actual spd caught... i was like... "really, did you have to add in that + after the 99?" =P

Good Luck Kaan
