Not sure what good a lawyer can do as speeding is speeding
Doesn't matter if the other guy was speeding also, you were over the limit and happened to be caught
It's the risk you run when we all choose to drive that fast

Time to man up and pay the debt to society
be grateful nothing seriously worse happened

Don't know if the cop was bluffing about the video, but my friend was in the same situation. He went to court and won the case. How? There was no video recorded when the lawyer asked for it. Don't take my advice for it but my friend did got away pretty lucky.

he was 300-500 ft behind me when i saw him and started to slow down, if he were to turn the video on 5 second before I would be at 90s in that case.

My friend actually used the advice on this... got a reduced fine, 2 point on the record, traffic school and the judge suggested he does community service for picking up trash on the freeway but it was thrown out.. he was going to get his license suspended, vehicle impounded and a felony charge for 118mph on 101N.

Over all... fines after fighting it with a lawyer was more then the cost of the ticket... but the consequences were much less.
