Carbotech ??
Yes, XP10. Edwin recommended the RP2 for similar feel, but longer life.
Was that just 3 track days? Or some spirited, daily driving thrown in there?

I daily mine at least for now but I'm on hawk + pads. I wonder if the life is any different..

3 track days (368 miles), driving to and from the track (1125 miles), and another 550 miles of random non-spirited driving.

Very impressive!

I think what's more impressive is that you can somehow carry 108 through 8 from what I've heard.

As far as the brakes go I've never tried the RP2's but I think that's what he runs and he likes them.

I prefer more of a solid pad and the carbotechs are a but mushy for my liking.
The cobalts are pretty harsh on rotors and the Performance Friction Pads are still up in the air still but I think they'll turn out to be the pad I stick with.

That supercharger really makes the car pick up speed. Its so intense!

Supercharger has nothing to do with going through 8 at 108, that's just straight up balls of steel. I have the speed to do that but I lack the skill to carry it out, I think my highest slowest speed through that corner is 99 but average is like 94. This past track day I was all over the place, anywhere from upper 80's to upper 90's

I averaged about 75-80 but the only video I have is when I was behind my buddy in the fit and I got held up on the straights and turn 8 until they allowed passing.

I hope next time they allow point by passing from the start. They did back in March and it worked out great..

Looking great for your first time out, Andrew!

I was high 80's through 8 when I got it "right" this time out, which was a big improvement for me. The new damper valving was way better there but I bite things off in baby steps. I've never been off track and would like to keep it that way. Shooting for a solid 90 next time and will go from there.

Yeah turn 5 and 8 I felt like I was losing a massive amount of time. I would use 4th to help keep the car stable, but with the right tire pressures and the right line I think I could just launch over it in 3rd with just a minor lift.

The fastest guys seem to take 2 in 4th, but they also have aero and 255 all around, will definitely experiment next time!

Turn 8 I think 100mph or just a touch below is perfectly possible in my car, I definitely wasn't in full attack mode though. I can't wait to drive in a group where I have to fight to keep up with people!

Anyone else have any tips for turn 5? Edwin seems to take it in 4th in his 2'00 lap video with a minor lift after getting a great exit out of 4.

Turn 8 I really just want to take flat at the top of 4th, but never gave it a go, turning in right before hitting the rev limiter and 4th and be back into 5th soon after the exit. Next time, next time.
