</div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE ( @ Jan 23 2001, 07:02 PM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'> the 76 station at Almaden Expressway and Foxworthy (just North of Capital Expressway) has 100 Octane gas on one of their pumps.. I checked the price last week and it was.. prepare yourself... .65/gallon. Might be fun for every once in a while if it actually gives any measurable boost. [/QUOTE]
That is incredibly cheap. That is less than 1/2 of what it cost at Infineon or Thunderhill

I was going to say the price of it hasn't gone up since the days of tracking the bike. Haha now I know why

The bike at buttonwillow 95+ temps ran like it was supposed to with 100 octane and ran like shiet without it. I think our cars might get a slight gain on super hot days but don't see it being an advantage like it was with the bike. The bike would get to a point where it would feel like the gas was burning as it was coming out of the injector. Although I did run the bike damn near nonstop because all sessions were open for me to run in. I do miss that

the car would definately gain more by having a catch can, oil doesn't ignite all that easily.
