The 10 Least Drivable Cities
Of course we top the list!
The 10 Least Drivable Cities
1. Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA
2. San Francisco, CA
Los Angeles was very clearly the least drivable city studied. L.A. has the nation's worst mobility$#151;the highest travel time index (1.9), the highest annual delay per peak road traveler (136 hours), and the highest roadway congestion index. San Francisco has the highest gas prices in the nation ($2.20/gallon). Although both cities have rough roads, they have great driving climates.

SF takes cruddy care of it's streets under slick willie. Lincoln ave has small potholes in a line from 19th ave to about funston -drives me crazy. Does have crossover drive through GGP and Doyle drive- where you can open up.
If it weren't for all the tourists, twin peaks blvd would be a great scenic twisty!

Why is that every time I hear about "Highest Gas" price My local Chevron is always more expensive? I mean $2.20. I could have sworn it said $2.45 last week at my Chevron. But then again I live next to the airport and gas by the airport is always expensive.

[B]Driving in Boston really sucks ! I'd put it ahead of SF in the list.
With the one way streets and traffic circles, it's a pain to get anywhere.
I've heard that's where they invented the phrase:
"You can't get there from here."

yo, don't forget Manila.
beyond words, their traffic system is so pathetically enforced. driving on the wrong side of the road, driving on the sidewalk, stopping at red lights optional unless you think you can squeeze between the other traffic, 2 lane road is actually 3 or 4-- wherever you can squeeze by, passing on the outside of a blind curve, right of way goes to the largest vehicle....
absurd and obscene. and I was born there! so I know what I'm talking about.

thise folks have obviously never been to the big asian cities. Beijing is a giant Parking lot, Bankok is a slow converyor belt, Metro Manila...ugh! and dont forget the wonderful sense of order in Shanghai & Taipei! Hong Kong is too small but i suppose night times is ok, and Singapoer? pnce you get to speed, you fall off the island (just kidding) But seriously, those folks need to visit Asia...Makes Boston traffic & driving look mild
