Cause I really want a white on black one and the white one at Anderson honda is the place that I am talking about. They want 26,500 for that car. That is a bit more than what I want to spend on a s2k.

i check socal fairly often as well in search of the 2 cars that im familiar with, got my first S from Temecula and the trip down/up HWY5 wasn't that harsh at all. made it back in 25 hours round trip.

gluck on the search, just wait it out for your perfect car. pick up a motorcycle as a commuter, a 600cc bike will generally get better than 45mpg and get you from point A to B faster.

Well they have an internet ad for a lower price. Many dealers do this, lower online price to attract buyers. So print it off, andor call them and tell them they have it for $25 and you'll buy today at that price.

Got to play hard ball. I see a few others have found you cars in your price point. They're out there. DO your research.

Thanks for the heads up guys. The one at carsmiths, I already talked to them and they are waiting on delivery of the car so hopefully it comes in by Friday so I can check it out. The car at Tipton Honda is the one I plan on flying down to pick up next week if its still available by the weekend cause thats the only time I can go.

Rob-2 I tried to get them to lower the price but they were pretty firm on $26500 OTD. I was even willing to pay a little over $25000 but they still wouldn't do that, so Im sitting here waiting for a good deal to come up.

It's against the law to advertise a lower price then you can purchase it for.

You probably don't want to deal with a dealership like that anyway.

Yamaha, with your budget of mid-high 20s, you can get some really good deals these days. Check out finance rates at BMW and Lexus. You sure you want to finance a used car? That may not be prudent. Personal opinion; I wouldn't want to finance a weekend car like the S2K when you can get a bimmer 3 for a daily driver (new or used) for the similar dough.
