technical service bulletin work & recalls are only handled by dealerships.

one of joey's guys works at an acura dealership. he prob can rec a good dealership. my friend's company, Custom Car Alarms, does the alarms at/in SF Honda, but not sure if i trust any of their techs. i've been out of touch w/the Honda/Acura scene, esp while I was living in SoCal, but aren't too many I used to trust around here. if joey doesn't know, i'll ask my other friend, kevin, that owns Auto HQ. he's an ex-Subaru tech at Carlsen Subaru. I think he's a Master Honda tech too.
Thanks for the suggestion! I met Joey's tech (forgot his name) the last time I was there getting my RSX serviced. I'll ping Joey.
no prob, but please let me & the others know what he Joey says. i bother him enough w/my random questions and comments. lol Ben is the one that works at Acura. Not saying which one cuz I don't know if he wants it broadcasted.

Very interesting. Last summer we changed a booster out of a guys '06 because it tested bad. The car was a heavily tracked car so we figured failure was due to serious wear and tear. Thanks for posting!

Yeah it's on Honda Owners Link now. I'll try to visit the dealership tomorrow.

Question(s):

1) Does rectifying this require bleeding the brakes?

2) If yes; will Honda re-imburse you for brake fluid? (I'm using RBF600 and it's only like a year old).
