I have to give it to Audi for always being a big step ahead of BMW in the interior/center console/gauge cluster dept. No doubt, the gauges and center console on the S5 is beautiful!

But that's about it. LOL. My A4 was a nightmare and I'm soo turned off by Audi that I don't think I can give them a 2nd chance.
like exb00st said the earlier Vw/Audi cars I would not own(the A4 chassis was the worst IMO).. Unfortunately people that did own them had to live though headaches..

With that being said, the current lineup is MUCH better!! I'm not saying go out and buy one right now, just that they are no ware near as bad as they used to be..

Thanks Mac for organizing and for leading the way.

Here are my pictures. Rolling shots didn't come out all that great, because my assistant was sleeping .
You're welcome it wouldn't have been the same without you so I'm glad you took time away from your project to join

Awesome pics as usual I had to look at them on my computer

Totally understandable. I don't think I would have given them a second shot had I had an earlier Audi. The new ones are much improved reliability-wise. It was something I researched heavily before picking one up. I believe 06-07 is when they jumped on the charts to an above average reliability ranking. FWIW, I'm not a huge fan of older Audi's and DeSilva's (new designer) is what drew me in.

Thanks for the pic, Vu!
The new designer did a great job. Did he start with current body style or did he start with the b5 models? I had a 2001.5 a4 and it was a POS.

I believe he started from scratch and took specific design cues that were going to be incorporated into the rest of the lineup eventually. The design language is very Italian, as he's an Italian designer who used to work for Alfa Romeo.
