I'll try and make the dinner but I don't think I'll make it though.

I'll probably make it between 7 and 8 to check in my vehicle.

Hope that will be ok?

Acutally that won't be ok. Everyone has to be together to roll-in. If we're inside around 5 and you get there around 7 to 8, you won't be placed with us. That's why they stress about having everyone together before you guys go inside.

BTW, I'm still on the wall about whether or not I'll be showing with you guys. If I do I'll be at the meeting spot at 2. If I show with Hybrid then I'll call you Cliff.

blureds2k is right.....everyone must roll in at the same time....they are very strict on this because they try to place cars and fill buildings ASAP....so i suggest that everyone show up the same time. People will be there as early as 1 pm the day before the show for roll-in, trying to get a good spot, especially in the main building. The lines are deep, 100+ cars, with people coming from all across the US. Waiting for one person can jeaprodize the whole group's placement. It could mean the difference between showing in the main building (BEST option) to showing outside (WORST option). By the way, I've seen tree branches fall on cars parked outside (it can get very windy in San Mateo) and VISION ENT. does not take responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged cars. In addittion, they are very strict about the 1/4 tank of gas rule as it is mandated by fire code/laws/regulations. If you happen to have more than a 1/4 tank, they will tell you to leave or find a way to burn off the extra gas. I've seen people actually drag race their cars in the expo parking lot, trying to use up the extra gas. The other alternative is getting back on the freeway and driving until you hit the 1/4 mark. This can be funny to watch but not any fun if your the one holding up the group. Take my advice, I use to be in a team and show my old car...I participated in every HIN/HID since it came to the bay area until about the begininng of 2003. Good Luck guys and be safe!

Good points. 100 deep cars? Wow Hawaii isnt that big. The last show we had which was in August was our yearly show and there was like 70 cars total. I will meet up with you guys whenever and where ever. I have a few more things left to do but nothing crazy..
