observation from a newbie 1st timer.

1. HAD A BLAST
2. motor oil down .75 of a quart
3. brake fluid down .25 at the reservoir
4. brake reservoir covered in fluid.
5. tire threads are all cracked and melt looking at the same time.
6. Passenger window stop working-found out it was not track related Thanks Mac!

Any thing I need to do at this point? Are my tires done?

Also notice everybody's else car I rode in was much more stable compare to my wallowing stock suspension and my car understeers a lot.

1. HAD A BLAST sweet!

2. motor oil down .75 of a quart I used to lose 1 full quart after every session (annoying), but after a quick mod to the valve cover, and after installing a catch can, i loose 0 ounces of oil throughout the whole entire day.

3. brake fluid down .25 at the reservoir due to a combination of brake fluid boiling/pressure (minor) and the wearing down of your brake pads. it's normal. if you put new(er) pads with more meat, the level will rise again.

4. brake reservoir covered in fluid. reservoir socks  they're not just for show

5. tire threads are all cracked and melt looking at the same time. that means you were having a good time out there

6. Passenger window stop working-found out it was not track related Thanks Mac!

Any thing I need to do at this point? Are my tires done? i'm sure your tires are fine.

Also notice everybody's else car I rode in was much more stable compare to my wallowing stock suspension and my car understeers a lot. aftermarket suspension does wonders, but sometimes make the handling A LOT worse if not setup or modified properly

glad you had a blast!!!

You still have bent stuff lol get that stuff squared away and get rid of my eyeball alignment because I doubt you've gotten one yet. New knuckle, rack, control arms has gotten it much better but there's still a bit more. Once that's done then think about better tires or wheels and tires stock suspension isn't bad, throw some eibach bars wheels and tires and that'll carry you out for a while.

We're still busy sorting through all the 1080P GoPro footage recorded.

In the meantime, here's one of Andrie during the last advanced session when he ran a 1:58.160 (overall fastest time of day).

Recorded from my iPhone with a Ram mount:

Yeah that is just silly fast. Stopped and said hello to you guys at the trailer the night before at Motel 6, and then again the next day at the track. Stock motor, tranny, and diff. WOW .

Super consistent driver, same actions lap after lap.

I was rolliing through there in third for a while, and kept getting yanked on the way out and started shifting into second. It alters your line a bit and changes how you come onto the gas.

I did manage to try a few downshifts into second prior to making the turn. That seemed to help (as opposed to shifting IN the turn) but the amount of power that becomes available at that point was scary. That and my two spins are ultimately why I settled into 3rd gear towards the end of the day.

This is only session I'v had chance to see Andrie and Rob, tires are out, but had a lot fun yesterday. Too bad my s2k wasn't ready.

Great seeing you this weekend Owen! Wish your S2K was there too.

Sounds good man!

Oh and I found footage that we have from that same session you posted. (Forgot to switch the metering mode for exposure before Andrie went out though).
