Just want to be safe, on the instructions only recommend for OEM hood.My TopSecret hood dont have any metal backplate compare to the immitation CF hood.

Well, its got some metal there or else you won't be able to bolt it down. I've seen a lot of JDM CF hoods with the NRG hood dampers.

Voo, yup seen few out there thats why i bought this.Iwas about to install it but change my mind just dont want to take chances of breaking the expensive hood
