***SCCA Discussion Thread 08 Season***

Brian, you could run in the T2 class with the BSP index. T2 is an index-adjusted street tire class for street prepared & street mod cars.
Or you could just run BSP with Stephen and Mac.
If you go to the web site and enter your car / number / class in advance and print out the bar code, you can bypass the slower registration line and just pay your cash.

John, only thing is I dont have SCCA license anymore so I have to be sponsered to run and I dont think I could pre-register online, or could I?
Maybe I could run novice as well what do you think John? I would want to run in whatever class they do but run fun runs so theres not the posability that I mess with their points being I'm not going to be running all year.
Regardless I'll be there with my car and see what it'll do.

They have gone to weekend memberships now. They will sell you one for $15, and you are a member all weekend. If you get an annual membership after that, you get $15 off (up to $30 if you did two weekend memberships).
The catch is that I don't think they will sell weekend memberships on Saturday at the practice. The committee was discussing that.
I guess you can only pre-register if you have a membership number. You might be able to just make one up and get it changed later.
If you want to run Saturday I think you're going to have to get some sort of membership. I don't know if you can get a weekend membership at SCCA.com but you can get an annual membership. Membership is required at all SCCA events this year per a national decree, so you can use it with Sac and Fresno too.
You might technically be a novice under the SFR regs but I think you've got too much experience to do it honestly (and you knew it, you smartass).
Ellen will be in town, so we'll be there whichever days we both feel like showing up.
Hmm, should I put on the Bridgestones?

Saturday NO, got some birthdays to attend to, but i'll be there Sunday.
Now with this $15, does that mean that I dont need a sponsor anymore and i can just show up at say Noon and run/work 5,6 when BSP runs. Or do I still have to show up at the butt ass crack of dawn to make sure im part of the sponsred bunch of 10?
And yes John, I was being a smartass, maybe i'll even wear my AAS championship jacket if it cold outside
