I agree last year there were to many stupid drivers in the group. That was the main reason y there was traffic well driving up there by side that the drive was smooth. I'm down to roll with just s2k's this year so let set something up!

Yep, that's why going through the mountains should be a better approach - the tricky part is which roads up there to avoid. I have one route I like to take to the Boardwalk, but its a bit long & you still have to hop on to 17, which is moot for this particular drive. I know Mac Daddy will have good suggestions to make on this!

anybody going from monterey area? I can drive to SC alone, but it would definitely be more fun to meet up with other s2k drivers first.

I might take this on; we shall see as to how some of my plans pan out. I'll need to do a recon on the route first before I can commit. Give me around 2 weeks to put things together on my end & see if I can pull it off. Not sure I would want to lead the actual drive though...
