It has come time again to put the car up for sale. I've been accepted into law enforcement, and owning this car would be a conflict of interest. I would personally love to finish this car, but I need to part ways with it.

This isn't your ideal daily driver, but it's well on it's way to being a dedicated track car which you can drive to and from the track reliably. Here's some info:

-I aquired the car in 2006 while I was stationed in Washington DC. The car was never driven in snow; the DC Metro was very close to our barracks. The owner previously, had his car vandalized, and had the passenger side repainted.

-I was in 1 accident in the car. While in SoCal, I flipped a U-turn and some guy ended up hitting my passenger door. The damage was minimal, but the owner wanted to report it since it was his mom's car. This is the ONLY accident on the car. Frame is straight and nothing wrong with it (otherwise I would have picked up another chassis).. clean title

-I turbo'd the car @ 60,000, I rebuilt the head, competition valve job, Supertech springs and retainers, and new OEM guides and seals.

-I would definitely recommend a paint job, everything from the front fenders forward has been painted within the past few months. The rear is what needs paint. However, the car is very clean for being daily driven.

There is SO much more that I'm missing but it's getting late so if you guys have any other questions, please just let me know. I'm not looking to part out, but I might be willing to remove SOME parts (i.e. AIM Dash, Seat, ect.) if I have a serious buyer. NO JOY RIDES EITHER!!!! This car was meant to be driven on the track, and I will not go blasting around town getting the car taken away. Might be interested in the spare Laskey engine block - what's included? top / bottom end?


Just curious but why does being in LE require you to sell this ride or just personal reasons?

My guess... the OP driving a non emissions legal car on public roads would be "against the law", and for the OP to be working in "law enforcement" would lead to the conflict of interest he mentioned.
