Default Sony DSC-F717 Digital Camera

SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-F717 5.0 MEGAPIXEL DIGITAL CAMERA PLUS EXTRAS

I am selling my used Sony DSC-F717 Camera in perfect working order with all the extras you could ever need for this camera. I am the original owner of this camera. This is still just about the best point and shoot camera you can buy. It has an amazing 5X Optical Carl Zeiss lens. (Remember that optical zoom is everything, digital gets you next to nothing.) The lens is in perfect condition. The camera itself is in near mint condition. All OEM stickers are still in tact. There are very minor signs on wear (primarily some scratching on the underbody due to tripod use and a few scuffs on the edge of the LCD) but it is in overall near mint condition with all functions tested and working to perfection.
Aside from the great lens, the best feature of this camera is the swivel canon design with allows you to use the LCD to compose your shot while holding the camera out in virtually any position. With this auction you'll get many great extras including a 3x zooms lens to dramatically increase the overall zoom capability, two total memory sticks, and one new battery.
You get:
Sony DSC-F717 Camera. Original Camera charger. Original USB Cable, Original SONY camera neck strap, Original SONY lens cap, AC Cable. Original Pixela Image Mixer Software. Original Owners Manual.
Targus Camera Bag DBMS01-02
Sandisk 256 and 512mb Memory Stick Pro Duo Memory Stick. Plastic Carrying case included.
Sony Infolithium Battery
Blower Brush, lens cleanser, and lens tissue for lens.
Mini desk tripod.

I'm asking for $225 for all. I've paid $899 for this camera couple years ago and then some more $$$ for the accessories I'm including. Please PM me if you like to see sample pictures taken with this camera.

That's a really good price for a pretty consumer good camera.

I used to have this camera for 4 years and it took very high quality shots for a consumer camera. Plus it has the Zeiss lens which is great too. If you're looking for a good travel camera that you don't have to worry about losing or damaging, this is a great choice.

Any sample pictures? I've been thinking of getting a better camera for some nice photography. I'm getting tired of the point and shoot Canon SD400.

How do the 2 cameras compare?
