BUYER BEWARE: BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SELLER
Tried to meet up and buy an OEM lip from this seller (stated brand new on thread) and drove all the way to daily city from san jose to find the "brand new" lip was scratched and missing hardware. Didnt make the purchase but wasted time/gas meeting up with seller.
not to ruin this for sale thread but just dont want anyone else dealing with the things i did so check if everything is complete or not broken etc.

Hey all,
I'd like those who don't have personal experience with the seller to remain objective...I don't understand the reason others have to jump on the bandwagon based on one post from a disgruntled buyer. I don't know his side of the story, but I did hear from the seller. Apparently there was some miscommunication and there was a *slight* scratch on the lip. The adhesive tape was intact, though. It wasn't installed, but it wasn't completely perfect either.
In defense of the seller, I have to say he's a standup guy. I PM'ed him and ended up realizing we knew each other from before. Once we figured that out on the phone, he had the integrity to stay true to his promise of selling to another member...even though he didn't know him at all. BUT he had promised him verbally of selling him the exhaust. He could've easily copped a story and sold it to a friend instead.
That being said, I give to the seller for his integrity in this sale...I'm sorry that someone else didn't have the same experience.
Eddie..
BTW: FWIW...The exhaust was sold to another Ed...

The seller then started to say thing like "it is just a small scratch" and "new hardware can be bought at the dealership for cheap." The scratch went in so you could see the plastic so i really wouldnt call it a "*slight*" scratch. Granted that hardware is cheap to purchase and I could have covered the gash with touch up but I wasnt going to settle for less when I had the expectation of arriving at the meet up location to purchase a "BRAND NEW" OEM lip.
I was ticked off because i spent my saturday driving to Daily City wasting time/gas just because the seller failed to mention a "slight" scratch and missing hardware. (or in other words, not telling the truth in his post)
I am happy to hear that whoever bought the exhaust had a pleasant transaction with the seller. Like i stated on my previous post i didint want to ruin his for sale thread just wanted to let people know my experience with the seller and didnt want anyone else to have a bad experience as mine.
