We had the car mounted up on the Mustang Dyno and we did 4 runs, first one was with Traction control switched on which cut off power so we switched it off and went for 3 more runs and i discovered that with every run, the more heat the engine had the more horsepower the car was producing. which was quite strange and interesting.

So the best out of the 3 runs was 190 rwhp and 130 rwtq Uncorrected. I decided to stay uncorrected so that when i come again in a couple of weeks it will be the same conditions so it will be an apple to apple comparison. At the time of the dyno my car has only a test pipe and password jdm snorkel
Your baseline dyno results are very comparable to my AP1 with just an Invidia testpipe (and AEM Infinity tune). I'm very interested to see your "after" dyno results. I've planned to get the Urge exhaust but now I'm interested in your combo with the Urge unicorn header.

Have you done that after dyno session yet? If so please share your results. Thanks!

Hi snitm, i just want to mention that our cars are the international/ european versions. so my 2007 ap2 is actually a 2.0 not 2.2 like USA

The tuner known as Derf Tune was in town and i had a chance to meet him and he got my car tuned. I have to say the car is running really lovely after the tune, the pick up in mid range now its much better than before, the full exhaust combined with the tune really does make the car lively

We had around an hour an a half on the dyno so plenty of time to cool and tune the car

Up top there is like a 5 or 6 hp differecnce from 214rwhp base run with full exhaust no tune to 220rwhp with tune and full exhaust but where it shines is the midrange, we picked up 20 rwhp and about 20rwtq from the full exhaust and tune

This is my friend's car, he tuned with me as well same day same dyno same tuner. His car is also a 2.0 with Password JDM intake, spoon headers, berk test pipe and toda catback below is his dyno.

He has a litter higher top end power 222rwhp , but in the midrange he suffers alot, and the dips as well the tuner was saying was because of the Password jdm air intake.

Here here is the comparision to the original dyno

Here the computer froze so we had to restart it, and forgot to switch the car off so the car had quite some heatsoak, so i left it to cool down for a while

For a track car midrange is what you want. Really good results on the dyno man.
Just bought myself a haltech ecu so I'm keen to do a few more track days next year and then get a tune done and see the differences

exactly true, mid range makes all the difference, specially on a tight autoX track where i participate in about 8 times a year. Thats why i am really happy with this exhaust system as it really did wake the car up

congrats on your new purchase, the tune alone should make a big difference also to the way the car drives

I agree, seems like he is a person who knows what he is doing. When i heard he's coming i thought i should get a tune by him, would be miles better from whoever will tune in this side of the world.

i am happy with the car how it is now, seems to pull nicely specially when vtec is lowered to 4k Rpm, the exhaust sounds even better with Vtec opened, i never expected a 4 cylinder to sound this good

Today i am heading to the Yas Marina Circuit - South configuration to test out the new mods on my car. My previous Best was 1:17X with stock tune, am looking forward to seeing the outcome today with the upgraded exhaust system, tune and also track pads. Hoping to be in the 1:15 sec range

I'll upload a video once edited

Cheers guys and Merry Xmas to all !

Happy holidays and many smiles per gallon ahead
