Thanks man. I really feel the car has transformed beautifully with these mods, specially when I compare it to other s2k's running on the same track. Quite a difference.

I will be uploading videos of the DYNO, exhausts and auto X run very soon

So on Saturday i went to get my car Dyno tuned in preparation for a the exhaust system install and a tune within the following couple of weeks. I went to Tensai tuning which is one of the famous garages around Abu Dhabi that caters to JDM cars specially Subaru's and Evo's

We had the car mounted up on the Mustang Dyno and we did 4 runs, first one was with Traction control switched on which cut off power so we switched it off and went for 3 more runs and i discovered that with every run, the more heat the engine had the more horsepower the car was producing. which was quite strange and interesting.

So the best out of the 3 runs was 190 rwhp and 130 rwtq Uncorrected. I decided to stay uncorrected so that when i come again in a couple of weeks it will be the same conditions so it will be an apple to apple comparison. At the time of the dyno my car has only a test pipe and password jdm snorkel

i will leave you with the video

this was the best part of the day. After finishing dyno my car i head to Dubai to visit my mechanic who will have the pleasure of installing the Urge exhaust system on the car

i had to call my friend to help me put the exhaust in his car as there was no way i can do it alone .. lol

I arrived at the shop and right away we unboxed everything and started right away. 15 mins later the catback was off the car and before i know it my mechanic had already started working on removing the oem headers and installed the urge headers !!

i was amazed that it didnt take him long.

Headers mounted

Mounting the rear mufflers

The installation took less than an hour but the alignment of the rear mufflers did take quite a while because i was having clearance issues either on the diff or on the underbody. So we worked around it and twisted the midpipe near the headers flange and that gave us the clearance we needed and enabled us to finally tighten up everything and start her up

I really love how the exhaust tips turned out with the painted mufflers, now it looks oem but has that mean sound to it that means business !

thanks bro. I am really looking forward to the track day end of the month where i will test the new exhaust system, tune, gt wing adjustment as well as proper track pads ( Ferodo DS Uno on front and DS 3000 ) as i was using Ferodo DS2500

Previous time to beat is 1:17:xx so hoping to be around 1:15 - 1:16 with some fine suspension adjustment as well as tire pressures monitoring to make sure the AD08R are in their sweet spot when hot which is 32-34 psi. Last track day i was running at 30 psi hot which was causing the car to understeer and oversteer

Perhaps after the new years i will look into corner balancing as well to get the most out of the car

Stay tuned for updates
