wow this really is super impressive. i think if someone made a kit for this once all the details were worked out and availability of parts was worked out etc. it would be a GREAT option for a lot of enthusiasts.

Well I cleaned the garage up a little last night
Snapped the picture this afternoon when I came back from a friends house, surprised to see how artsy it is.
Also, hackaday.com featured the car this morning!
Heres a link http://hackaday.com/...-school-senior/

I guess that kinda explains why there are 500 guests viewing this thread right now

Also, just received an email from Grassroots motor sports magazine asking to do an article on me. Pretty stoked!

Ron Burgundy offers his abridged summary on this project.

Homework now...

I also worked a little on the rear battery boxes.

Siliconed around the edges to seal everything up. Then washed everything up and washed the inside of the car since everything was covered in metal dust and dirt.

Plus I 'tweaked' the battery plates again.... OCD...
I basically made all the dimensions smaller. Theres a lot of empty space in the box which I don't like or have the space (in the car) for.

Impressive stuff. Now if you could make it to go back in time, then I would be very impressed!

Great progress man! Keep up the hard work! So many of my co-workers wish we still had the time to build stuff like this, but 40-80hr weeks varying allows very little "creative" time haha.

Need to get a video of that motor powered up and whining.
