**....FINALLY AN UPDATE!!!! September 19, 2012**
Big thanks to EvasiveMotorsports (Huge) again. Fast shipment and great communication as usual!
What's going on? Glad to see progress on everyone's car and people moving on to different projects. Had my current RPF1's for 4 years now? Love them, rocked them proud, best bang for buck for rims and held up well on track days / city driving. My biggest issue with them was that it made my car look like it was rocking steelies!! What better way to replace them but to replace them with even bigger steelies, right?
My friend (tsukubaSpec) sent me a photo of these wheels and I was sold right away - I needed them! I don't think anyone (that I know of) has them in B.C., Canada and the first shipment just arrived from Japan last week in USA. I'd like to say I'm one of the first to get them up north here in Canada. Nothing to be proud of, just thought it would be cool.
Some pics, maybe the last ones with this setup
Remounted the wing further back with kenny_son & tsukubaSpecs help.
...Now for the big update! After months and months of saving and waiting.
New wheels = new nuts
Wheel stack, what do you think of our new deck? Awesome house project haha
Any ideas yet??
Another clue
TE37SL Black Edition
Concave all around
MOST stressful part. Got the wifey to do it because I screwed up
The wheels weigh 18lbs I think? I haven't weighed them yet, but they feel pretty light for 18s. The finish looks great in person, the spokes are a black finish and the lip and centre area are machined. I am still seeking help and deciding on tire sizes.
Will update again, but it takes me forever to save up so don't hold your breath. Hope ya'll doing well.
vinny
