But yes I'm still on NT01s. As far as I know the S2000 record is held by Jared (gearhead) at a 1:48 on Hoosiers. My goal is to beat that time on NT01s this year, but we'll see. I'm at about 430whp running E40 mix is where I'm typically at on the track. The car makes roughly 500whp on E85 and 460whp on E55.
My second time out to the Ridge I ran a 2.01.25 with a stock weight/power s2k with 255/295 stagger on old kumo xs summers. 122mph is the best I could get before braking into turn 1.

As far as I know this is still correct. He is supercharged making 350whp if i recall my conversation with him accurately. So just from that alone id say entirely possible you have a car that can beat his time. There is a lot of time you can pick up just due to the amount of straits on that track when you have power. Corning speed isn't going to account for nearly as much when you are already maximize in grip and line choice which sounds like you are, so most all your time at this point will be gained form added power/ strait line capitalization.

The main thing about a power advantage is that it means you have to brake sooner. what really counts around the track is average speed. so car A could hit 130 on a straight and car B can hit 100, but car B can go way deeper into the turn. I'm not saying that levels things out, but it brings that average speed a lot closer than one might expect just looking at hp figures

he already matched Jared's time, but I disagree about "a lot" of time in the straights... you gotta have buckets of power more for that to be a clear advantage.. generally R7's are about 2-4 seconds quicker than NT01's all else being equalish... in addition to the extra 100hp sirbikealot also has bigger tires and pretty quite a bit more aggressive aero... so when you factor that in, the extra power is really 1-2 seconds of that equation...

Awesome build. I really like where this has gone.
Another non-custom non-forged wheel option to maximize the rubber under those massive fenders:
18x11 +52 Apex ARC-8
https://www.apexraceparts.com/wheels...ang-wheel.html
You can probably run 305/35s NT-01s on there with the massive amount of room those fenders give you.

And yeah, I'm doing 140mph at the end of the straight. I'm pretty confident that if I bolted hoosiers on the car it would turn :45s. I've got another double day coming up September 21/22 so we'll see how it goes

What a beast! 45's should be no problem on Hoosiers. My fastest time was a 1:46.8 but that was before the repave at turn 13 which slowed me down about a second. The setup at that time was 245 Hoosiers (17 x 9's) and 325 whp (dynojet) and small splitter/small GTC-200 wing. My max speed was 137 before T1. I'm surprised your max isn't higher with over 100 whp more although you likely have a bit more drag due to the larger wing and flares.
Nice job on the car and driving. Hope to see you on the track next year.
