Some winter maintenance. Completed the valve adjustment. Also installed chicken wire in the grill. I have a transponder, Mishimoto radiator, and oil cooler up there. Alot of expensive stuff to protect up there!

I got some of the stickers we are required to run custom done in black and die cut in black. I also took the day to really clean the car, polish it, and wax it for next season. Tons of little things to do here and there while the suspension is away.

Installed my diff collars. This turned into a real pain in the ass because one of the welded in bolts for the diff mount broke off. I was lucky enough to fish a bolt through and nut it on the other side. The fixed worked great and is probably better then how Honda did it. I also went and checked the torque on all my subframe bolts and alot of them were loose. This should be on everyones winter to do list!

I have a VIS Mugen but going to a OEM style next year for TT5. The seal and fitment on my VIS is significantly better then the Forbidden Mugen from my experience. The Forbidden tops I had popped and cracked and felt flimsy. The VIS is significantly thicker but the rear window wasn't as big. Take my experience with a grain of salt though because from what I have read there is a significant difference in VIS tops from top to top.

I’ve heard the same inconsistency issues with VIS tops; glad to see function and form isn’t lost here.

Some updates. I had neoprene brake ducts that I bought last year. They didn't even last a season before developing holes from rocks and tearing apart. I spend the extra money this time and went with silicone ducts.
TT5 stickers are here so it is official that is what I am running in now. I got all die cut logos so they match the car and put them low as possible so they aren't distracting. I sold my AIM solo in anticipation of the new AIM SOLO 2 coming out.
Also, my hardtop is is a .4 hit for TT5 so I traded someone for a Forbidden double carbon OEM top. I had a Forbidden top before and it is just as shitty as I remember it to be. I plan on refinishing it as well as putting some spray in insulation in it to make it less shitty. Also, my custom roller was made to work with a Mugen top so I will need to notch the OEM top to work with my existing setup. I'm pretty nervous about but lets see how it goes. More pics to come!
