NRG. I might be selling them. They keep destroying my shins when I walk by the car in my small garage!

if they hold up to tows, hit me up; I could use a set. I like that they are easy to put on and take off. and that they are green

Can't say I like rigid tow hooks. Not only shins but they can wreak havoc on bumper covers.

There's a lot to be said for full straps.

draft.

That's a lot of Sick Days. And always on a Friday?

Got some sticker 225/40/17 R7s and 255/40/17 RC1s mounted on 17x10 6ULs. 6lbs weight difference per corner is huge!

Got the car back from corner balance and alignment and everything seems great. I ended up using only 1 25lbs ballast brick. The car with a full tank of gas and RC1s weighted in at 3019lbs. Subtract 24lbs for R7 and 29lbs fuel burn it puts me right at an adjusted 14.0 p/w ratio for TT5. I typically burn about 15-18lbs per session and fill up every session so I have enough buffer to be legal incase the scales are slightly off. I will also bring an extra 10lbs incase the scales are way off.

I had the alignment and corner balance done at Ptuning.

Alot of guys are secretive about setups. I am not because I'm not really doing anything too special with the car and also because if I am doing something that works, I want other people to use it and have their cars optimally setup as possible and not waste time with failed setups.

Here are my alignment specs that I have used for the last 2 years or so;

Front:
Camber: 3.2-3.5 (whatever you can get max)
Toe: 0
Caster: 6

Rear:
Camber 3.2
Toe: .15 degree each side, .30 total

My corner weights were as follows:
LF: 778
RF: 731
LR: 777
RR: 732
Cross: 50.03

Note: These weights are with a full tank of gas and 200lbs driver.

I previously had 3.5 degrees camber up front but raised the right height slightly and wasn't able to get more then 3.2. A few people have asked me about balljoints vs offset bushings. I have used both. On my AP1 I had offset bushings and was able to get -3.9 and on my AP2 I was able to get -3.5 with balljoints. Of course these numbers don't mean much because ride height will have a big impact on numbers. Both balljoints and offset bushings do the job. The balljoints are probably easier to install though.

I've been going around and nut and bolt checking everything just to make sure everything is good. Alot of stuff came off and back onto the car so I want to be 100% sure everything is good before testing next Friday at Summit Point.

I installed a steering wheel hook as well. I have a couple of pictures of where I mounted my new AIM SOLO 2 as well as how I mounted my GoPro. The Hero 4 only has USB hook up and I like to use an external mic. You can only have power or an external mic hooked up, not both. My solution to this was an extended battery back pack so I can keep the back pack plugged in as well as the mic. Works great!

A few people asked about how my did my belts with the surgical tubing. Here are some updated pics.

That tubing idea is genius.
