This is a FACT. I have fond memories of autocrossing my rental Genesis sedan when my car got repainted.

I could probably do that. I have a friend with a pretty capable 3D printer.

Any idea what material would be best to use to print?

When I was in college our 3D printer used resin. It comes out rough so you hand sand it to smooth it out.

I have owned my S2000 for over 2 years now but still most people on the touge know me as the Rental Car Bandit. There is a good reason for that.

About 3.5 years ahead of you on that one hahaha.

And people have it all wrong. The fastest car isn't a rental car, the most fearless car is a rental car.
I miss those days!!

i'm not sure. My friend has printed some wheels for me using a Makerbot that uses PLA filament, but it came out kinda rough. Not sure if it's due to the printer or material. I just need something that won't collapse under the weight of a diecast car lol If you can get the wheel diameter around 1 1/16" that would be perfect!

Yeah for a part that small it will likely need to be printed with a higher end printer to get a nice result. You mean 1 1/16" width or diameter? 1 1/16" diameter seems pretty tiny.
