Spent quite a few hours this evening thoroughly cleaning the front hubs, calipers, rotor hats front and rear, hub rings, and mounting surface of wheels, as well as replacing the pad retainers with new ones and regreasing the caliper pins. This was to see if any of these items are a factor in the clicking I have still been getting under heavy load from the fronts. Luckily after doing all of this it seems to have gone away, I haven't had the chance to give it a thorough test yet but fingers crossed. I really think it was either the pad retainers or even as simple as the hub rings needing to be thoroughly cleaned along with the hub of the wheel and the mounting surface. Sometimes it is the simplest things. Hope this has taken care of it.

I also hope my contact at the body shop is back on the job tomorrow.

I have new parts but I think it would be bad form at this point to post up anything until this damn car is in the body shop.

Very excited! The guy I discussed everything with at the shop (B-Line in San Jose) was extremely thorough. They are going to have all the grill pieces powder coated for me (something I couldn't get done myself with such small parts for a reasonable price) and is going to be extremely thorough to make sure the dry carbon hood is done properly. Before I would even mention something he was already one step ahead and wanted to make sure everything was done the right way. Even recommending looking into details I hadn't thought of. He is even going to refinish the little stainless bumper mesh tabs I installed myself so they aren't so shiny. These guys mainly work on BMWs (they had a 1M in for some work) and some very nice classic restoration projects and older 911s. That being said he wasn't the type of guy that shrugs off a car like the S2000 when he sees I want everything done the right way. Extremely confident they will make everything look amazing. Just from the conversation I had and without even seeing the finished work I am pretty certain I will be returning here for any future body work.

Now... there must be some other parts I need...

That is my parking spot not the body shop...

Oh if you mean how far away he is parked. There is a pole there so he probably can't get out. He also knows I change my brake pads and things so he gives me some room to work.
